About the Light a Little Star event:
Our Light a Little Star "Stars in Motion" Parade will give hope to families of babies born too small, too soon and help to raise awareness of the urgency of the increasing rate of premature birth.
There will be opportunities for NICU graduates and their families to make cards of encouragement that will be presented to the families of babies in the Janet Weis Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Geisinger Medical Center at the time of the Parade.
Geisinger Health System's comprehensive partnership with the March of Dimes supports the organizations' shared interest in improving maternal and infant health. The Geisinger-March of Dimes relationship includes sponsorship of the March of Dimes Pennsylvania Prematurity Campaign.
